Live from the BlitzBox
The overlay follows the game the timekeeper is running. When the score or the clock changes on the board, the layer changes with it.
Broadcast
An OBS browser-source layer, drawn from the game on the BlitzBox. Both teams, both scores, and the clock, with Powered by BlitzSports on the picture.
How it works
No plugin. The layer is a web page. You paste it once.
Open the finder. Choose the venue, then the BlitzBox. A live hockey or ringette game fills the overlay URL.
The finder gives you one address for that game. Copy it.
Add a Browser Source. Set the width to 1920 and the height to 1080. Paste the URL. The frame shows both names, both scores, the clock, and Powered by BlitzSports.
What the layer shows
The overlay follows the game the timekeeper is running. When the score or the clock changes on the board, the layer changes with it.
Add a Browser Source at 1920 by 1080. There is no plugin to install. OBS is the only program the stream computer needs for this layer.
The frame is black, red, and white. A large Powered by BlitzSports line sits on the picture, so viewers see who is behind the score.
Hockey and ringette
The finder lists venues and BlitzBoxes that have a started hockey or ringette game. Pick the game, copy the URL, and leave it in the scene.
Also a data service
The box is a one-time purchase. The live game is also a service: a score ticker for your site, or an API for your own software.
